    i started refereeing at small interclubs like Testing Ground and Caged Steel and then slowly moved up to bigger shows. I was fortunate enough to seak advice and watch quality refs like Neil Hall and Trevor and to try learn from them

    i think the problem is going to be that some of the better refs see it as a business and are money oriented (which i totally understand) where as refs like me, n i think im as good as anyone out there imvho ;-), are happy to ref for much less money and do it just because i like to be involved in the sport i love

    how much a ref charges isnt necessarily a reflection of how good they are.

    Nice one Marc, a long time coming this, look forward to it; in addition to my BJJ reffing, I'm going to be reffing MMA events this year and add myself to the pool of refs in the UK. This course is definitely a step in the right direction Marc
