    Sounds like a lot of sandbagging in the u80kg novice! My lad who won the u80kg intermediate (and will now be doing advanced) just turned 20 and has about 2 years training so there's no excuse for not stepping up.

    I was in the under 80Kg yesterday and lost to Peter in the second round.

    I think its pretty pointless that so many people who have been training for over a year enter the beginners division. I have been training now for 4 months and didnt stand much of a chance.

    It would have been nice to know how I would have done against other people who have only genuinely being doing the sport for less then 12 months.

    Wade did mint, he was doing the adult division and the juniors, which ran simultaneously, which meant he was literally running across the mat from one match to the next, probably did four fights in about twenty minutes and never complained once. That attitude will take him far in the future for sure.

    Well done to Jay and the guys on another well run comp.
