    Default New BJJ Gravesend

    Classes at Rhinos Gym Gravesend, Unit F1, West Hill DA11 0DL. All classes being taught by Valmyr Neto is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt from Brazil. Has been training in BJJ for over 11 years, with numerous titles to his name. Neto gained his BJJ Black Belt training under Walter Broca, who also awarded current UFC Light-Heavyweight Champion Lyoto Machida. Neto is a training partner of Lyoto and his brother Shinzo when he is in Brazil.

    Below is a list of a few of Netos achievments:
    5th in the 2004 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Championships - Feather-weight
    6 x North and North East Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Champion
    4 x Brazilian Submissions Champion
    Professional MMA record - 2 fights - 2 wins in the first round by submission
    Gold in the 2010 Gracie Invitational Featherweight Black Belt division.

    Classes cost just £5 per session, classes wednesdays 6-7.30, friday 5-6.30 and saturday 11-12.30.

    I thought Rhinos was a bodybuilding Gym, you guys now moving into MMA , BJJ ?

    The upstairs part of the gym has been turned into an mma gym, we have classes in boxing, mma, bjj no gi and gi, we also have muay thai classes and greco wrestling classes starting soon.

    Downstairs is a bodybuilders gym and strongman gym, quite a few of the guys are now taking up the mma as well.

    got any details on the greco classes?

    I've attended seminars with Neto at London Fight Factory, we is an awesome teacher, fantastic BJJ, you guys are lucky.

    Cheers mate and i agree we are very lucky and its great have him as one of our instructors, hopefully we will be producing a good batch of mma fighters in the future, and thanks again
