    Default "King of the Mat" - Grappling Tournament, Liverpool. 31st October.



    Hi guys,

    I am writing to let you know that i am organizing our last Grappling Tournament of the year in Liverpool. It will be on October 31st at Kaobon Gym.
    Our last competition was great, nice fights and very friendly atmosphere.
    Everyone is welcome, but to keep everything well organized we will have limited places. So, if you are a grappler and want to compete let me know asap.

    All entries must be received by the 28/10/2010.

    Entry fee: £10

    Weight Classes:

    under 66kg
    under 77kg
    under 88kg
    under 99kg
    over 99kg
    ABSOLUTE

    Under 1 year of Grappling Experience, Under 3 years of Grappling Experience and Over 3 years of Grappling Experience.

    Weight in starts at 10:00, fights start at 11:00.

    Out of interest, what if you have no team at present?

    Seriously, what if you've taught yourself from instructionals etc?

    I would recommend that you do not enter, because you will get severely smashed. Save your money that you would spend on instructionals and go and train with a legit club.

    Yes, you're probably right. I wasn't thinking of myself by the way. I was just curious.

    Probably a good advice but answering to your question, usually people that train by themselves register as "independent fighter"
