Thanks for the interest guys. I will have a word with Andy regarding age range and female entrants.
Its not going to be the biggest competition its just to help get guys some experience and will have a few prizes etc available on the day. The No-Gi equivalent was really well received so hopefully this one will go just as well.

Sorry for the slow response guys. Been a very busy week.
I spoke to Andy regarding age range and unfortunately (due to insurance reasons etc) it will be 18 and upwards.
I also spoke to Andy about female fighters and I'm afraid its bad news, HOWEVER if we get enough interest we would be more than happy to have a womens competition.
We aren't trying to compete with the bigger competitions, basically we just want everyone to hopefully have a good day where people can have a roll in a competitive format and gain a bit of experience.

Does Andy have an issue about me entering the male 84kg and under division? I doubt very much that you would get enough interest from other female fighters, especially with it being a smaller competition. I would really like to enter this, I could do with the experience of rolling competitively against bodies that are closer to my weight (rather than fighting one or two females who are often 15 - 20kg lighter than me).
