Default BAMMA 5 Fight card to be released on Friday

Only 3 days until the Full BAMMA 5 Fight Card is released!

BAMMA are pleased to announce their next event will feature none other than Bob ‘The Beast’ Sapp in a heavyweight contest against British brawler Stav ‘Crazy Bear’ Economou!

December will see the best in mixed martial arts action hit Newcastle-upon-Tyne when BAMMA 5 takes place at the Metro Radio Arena!

Britain’s biggest mixed martial arts organisation is bringing their all-action event to the North of England for the first time with BAMMA 5.

Headlining the event are heavyweights Bob ‘The Beast’ Sapp and Stav ‘Crazy Bear’ Economou.

World-famous MMA star Bob ‘The Beast’ Sapp is a man of many talents; movie star, NFL player, professional wrestler and kickboxer, Sapp is a gigantic 6’4” fighter who tips the scales at 150kg (24 stone). With a pro record of 11-6-1, Sapp is known for his explosive style and crushing power.

Stav ‘Crazy Bear’ Economou is a 24-year-old British-Cypriot fighter with a 10-1-1 record. A wild and unpredictable fighter, 70% of Economou’s victories have come inside the first round. At 6’1” and 114kg (18 stone), ‘Crazy Bear’ will have a size disadvantage when facing ‘The Beast’, but with power in both fists and a ruthless ability to finish fights he’ll be sure to make it a fight to remember!

The co-main event’s sees the long awaited return of none other than the BAMMA Lightweight and Featherweight Champions, Rob Sinclair and Mark Adams.

We can dream as fans Marc Hope Dave is good after finland.

Adams / Hill would be a great scrap and with Bamma putting on great cards it would either by them or OMMAC to do the fight lol

He's fine thanks mate, just a little bruised...and inside also!

Success will come to Dave no matter what as he is the most dedicated guy i have worked with. Finland was a great learning curve for both of us. Coaches are quick to take success when a fighter does well, equally they must bear the brunt when things go worng. Assessment and improvement is continual! Dave will be back first half of 2011, in a dangerous mood!

Back on topic, Dave is taking some very well earned rest and the result of Marks match at BAMMA will be watched closely. Cant wait to see how it all pans out. Next year will have some great opportunities no doubt.

Sinclair + Adams are class and a great advert for British MMA. Sorry to see BAMMA going down the Bob Sapp route!
