Your favourite live bands.
Give a list of the bands that impressed you the most live.
My job gives me the chance to see loads of bands! I love it!
10) As I lay dying
8) Paloma Faith
7) Eliza Doolittle
6) Basement Jaxx
4) The Cult
3) Vampire Weekend
1) The Specials
Thats a varied list of genres too! haha.
WASP?? Fuckin' hell, good call. Not seen 'em live but great band. "I wanna be somebody", great rock tune... and Tool are great live, seen them twice.
Best bands I've seen:
Sick of it all
One Minute Silence
Hanzel und Gretyl
In their prime, Iron, Maiden, Metallica & AC/DC took some beating.
Green Day are very good. very suprised by how slick the show was.
Bowling For Soup are very entertaining with theit "pick tricks"
Sum41 were very good, dropping old metal intros into the set as tributes.
Saw Marilyn Manson a few times as support for big bands. Wasn't really my bag, but very impressive live show.
Guns N Roses were always epic.
Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton were both pretty disappointing, but maybe my expectations were too high.
The Darkness totally owned the stage on their Download set a few years ago, as did Disturbed.
Less Than Jake in a club setting are always top draw.
although I wouldn't have paid money for it, Yngwie Malmsteen was very entertaining.

In no particular order:
Less Than Jake - So much fun EVERY time
WASP - fucking mint!
Terrorvision - Grew up on them and did not disapoint
The Wildhearts - can't believe no ones mentioned them, awesome live band
The Offspring - Fire engines, that is all
Amen - fucking mental
Antiproduct - See Amen
Slipknot - touring the first album, insane
Machinehead - Truly awesome
Devildriver - just mint, twice in a weekend
Motley Crue - Hardcore as fuck live show
Killing Joke - on with anyone but the Crue would have destroyed them
Clutch - musical genius
Black Label Society - was fucking great
Metallica - good but a little let down
Down - Fucking brilliant
Theres loads more tbh, Motorhead and Alice Cooper were both mint, saw the Foos half a dozen times too, nothing comes close to the first time at Leeds tho.
The Hellacopters and Mondo Generator, both at the LA2, are two of the best live shows I've ever seen. Now I'm sad that none of those things exist any-more.
Radiohead, John Garcia, Jeffrey Lewis.

Metallica - greatest front man ever and songs that sound better when they're loud and raw.
Crowbar - brutal doom in a small club can't be beaten.
Tool - video/music combination, stunning.
John Mayer - was really cool with crowd interaction and it felt like he loved just playing music.
One Minute Silence - just unbelievable energy, never seen another band so animated on stage.
