    Back on topic...

    ...does a belt really mean that much to people!? I can honestly say I do not think about the colour of the belt, all I care about is improving my technique and it's application. If the objective is the next belt/rank rather than genuine progression of your skillset then the achievement of the belt will be a hollow one. Sadly the worth of a belt has been somewhat tarnished by the growing mass of clubs giving belts by attendance

    Spot on. I just want to get better, belts are a side effect.

    When? the only people I have met off this forum are RobT and some high grades and Judoka Rob would fucking smash me.
    1 hes very good on a technical level
    2 hes been purple nearly 4 years
