I thought it was the other way round.

I think from Wolves, the nearest place (or certainly the easiest) in Brum to get to is probably the MMA factory in Smethwick. Bomb it down the M6, off at J8 and around 10 mins later you're at Rolfe Street in Smethwick.... www.mmafactorymartialarts.com

You've got Alexandre Izidro coaching the BJJ and MMA, and Salman Mirza (bad-ass wrestler) coaching Wrestling. I think they may have boxing/muay thai tuition there - not sure......

The gym in Cannock was the orginal home of Team Supreme. To my knowledge it was just re-branded as UTC recently. I could be wrong though.

There's also Sprawl n Brawl in Acocks Green (at Stevie B's gym I think). Don't know enough about them tbh though.

That's about right, when it rebranded to UTC most the old Team Supreme guys (Eugene fadiora, Paul Taylor, Stu Barrs, Dan Korbely etc) left and setup Pure MMA in Cannock, we have around 30 - 40 in most nights and have about 20 active fighters at various levels plus a bunch more that are doing the grappling comps

obviously I'm biased as I train there but for me it's the best team on the north side of Brum, UTC probably have a better facility but I'm more than happy with Pure.

More Birmingham way there's elements which are a great gym, UTC erdington is an amazing facility and the MMA place in smethwick has some good coaches

if you fancy coming and doing a session at Pure MMA drop me a PM and I'll tell you everything you need to know

I wouldn't train anywhere in Birmingham. I heard they've just installed gunshot sensors in the area, so how am I supposed to let my hands go properly there?
