Im not 100% sure. but i think i read somewhere that he recorded it at a battle of the bands type thing when he was 18. I'm probably wrong, but none the less, he was young has hell when that was recorded.

you're probably right.
I misread your original post and thought you were saying aged 18 when he died.

Another year, such a shame. Few people have ever made me go 'WOW' when i listening to a song, dime is probably the greatest one of these.

Probably the best metal guitarist ever... not many that can write awesome riffs and can play amazing solos which have feeling not just flashy technique. Real shame he died.
