    Default Fuel prices uk

Cant beleive the price of fuel at the moment ...
I just went to my local Tesco's to fill up me Galaxy with Diesel and was KO'd with the price per ltr
    125.9 !!! UN FUCKN BELIEVABLE

The UK has the 2nd highest Diesel price in Europe and the 8th highest Petrol price behind Norway ..
Compare it to USA, and you're paying 47.76 for petrol and 52.57 per ltr for Diesel !!!

Where does our money goes when buying fuel??

    Have a look !!

This whole country is a piss take I hate it more and more each day.... I havent seen a snow plough or gritter since the big snow downfall on Friday in the NW and the roads are fucked. We get taxed to death and Council Tax and rates are astronomical compared to most countries and they cant even clear the roads, so at least while you cant drive you can be saving money on petrol lol!

They were saying on sky news earlier, prices of fuel may rise to 1.70! Makes 1.26 sound amazing.

I love England a lot, I am happy I grew up here and I love being British, its hardly war torn Basra, but when I start to look at the way things are going here it does get me down a bit.

I just get completely baffled by some of the decisions the government has made over the past 10 years and why they thought it was a good idea to get us in so much bloody debt, clearly the 80's was a pretty bad decade for the working classes but during the 90's everything seemed to stable out a lot, but the past 5 years it has gotten gradually worse and I see the next decade being a repeat of the 80's again.

Next year I am going to take a coarse to get qualified to teach abroad, hopefully by the time VAT goes up to 22% I will be out of here

i moved to melbourne australia last year and it made me realise that the uks pretty fucked.
fuel here costs like $1.20, theres millions of jobs, the cost of living is cheap as plus wages are great! not to mention that its just a better quality of life here.
just a shame that things seem to be getting worse in the uk! you would think that lessons would have been learned from all the previous mistake

I have a friend who moved out there for a couple of years, and then came back, he has been back here for a year but has decided he is going to live over there for good now.
He was saying it's a lot easier to live over there, like getting a mortgage is not a pain in the arse and a car is not so hard.

How have you found it compared to living in the UK?

i live in perth and the cost of living has sky rocketed here the past few years. when i arrived it was far cheaper than the uk but thats all changing. i pay just as much now for general bills and cost of living as i do in the uk. there are aspects of the uk which are terrible like the piss take taxes, but for what is more expensive there there are things that are also much cheaper (my grocery and alcohol bills here are horendous here to what i paid back home). perth certainly isnt the far better cheaper alternative these days and ive seen alot of ex-pats start to move back to the uk lately.

of course the general style of life is a bit easier here imo but no to the extent it was, its certainly no utopia here in aus like some make it out. i'll eventually be back in the uk and that's due to missing alot of things. i wont be looking forward to the high taxes, overcrowding and cost of running a car, but there's plenty i can't wait to get back for. its all a personal preference.
