My lineage for example is Me > Ze Marcello > Sergio 'Bolao' Souza/Murilo Bustamante > Carlson Gracie > Carlos Gracie > Mitsuyo Maeda...

If you say you have a belt/grade in BJJ, but cannot declare your lineage, then you are a FAKE.... Check the BJJ Police section on the EFN Forum for examples of people with fake BJJ grades who have been exposed because they cannot declare their lineage.... If you fancy a laugh check the Bridlington Karate thread!
I think you are mistaken here. you have it the wrong way round. unless of course you did give ze marcello a belt?

    Ian,

Wilson was awarded his 1st Degree by Carlson Junior.

He was awarded his Black Belt by Nelson Solari a few years earlier.

    Wilson Junior-Nelson Solari-Ricardo Liborio/Bebeo Duarte-Carlson Gracie-Carlos Gracie-Maeda-Kano

When Nelson was awarded his Black Belt in Carlson Gracie Academy Rio,Carlson was in the USA working on the team and academy there.
Liborio and Bebeo were teaching at Carlson's in Rio and Carlson gave his blessing to them awarding Nelson the Black Belt while he was away.
