anyone got anything to recommend lately?

i watched one called 'paintball' which i didn't think that bad for low budget and terrible acting. the action scenes carry it.
group of paintballers get picked off by a killer, i thought the death scenes were actually quite original for once (seen through the eyes of the killer using night vision goggles). such as sticking a land mine under someones body army and standing on them. them alone made it a worthwhile watch.

Just watching screwed,Its got all the makings of a great film.Right up my street.

The film is a semi-biographical story based on the experiences of former prison guard Ronnie Thompson who spent seven years working in some of the UK's most dangerous prisons. Based on Thompson's book of the same name, the project stars James D'Arcy (Master & Commander), Noel Clarke (Kidulthood), Frank Harper (The Football Factory), Jamie Foreman (Layer Cake), Andrew Shim (This Is England) and Kate Magowan (Stardust). The story revolves around former soldier Sam Norwood who takes a job as a prison officer when he returns from Iraq and becomes exposed to the underworld of prison culture - including corrupt guards and drug trafficking.

Just watched this on your recco and it is piss funny.

The bit with the kid and the wood chipper is hilarious.

Watched District 13 Ultimatum the other night - I would actually say I enjoyed it even more than the first one, good high paced action movie (ignore the storyline - its not relevant!) that entertained me, well worth a look and some neat parkour through the film as well.
The origional was awesome and I 'aquired' a copy of the new one but it was very badly dubbed and I couldn't watch it. I speak half decent French so with a casual glance at the subs I loved the first. Going to aquire a new version.

    Legion is worth a watch.

The Rite with Anthony Hopkins is pretty cool too.
I would ban the triangle choke, the refuge of cowards everywhere.
