    Does anyone here use Gymbox ?

    Going to start using the weights and cardio equipment before I get in the office ...

    Not as much as I should. Infact, I might be willing to sell you my contract but it is specific to the Westfield gymbox if thats any good for you? Its 58 a month - a lot less than other contracts as I signed up before they opened (so you wont be signed to 12 moths either). I just dont get the time to train and my money is being wasted. For MMA I recommend you have access to the other outloets (Bank and Holborn) as Bank has a full cage I believe.

    The weight facilities are bloody good, lots of free weights and dedicated dead lift areas etc, lots of kettlebells etc, lots of high calibre machines ....

    And you get to train with Jess Liaudin, Ash Grimshaw and many others but Westfield is currently mainly beginers during the week

    heading there in the mornings mate , 7 am ... weights and some cardio every morning then BJJ at my club in the evenings..

    the place is the business, more than what I need it for but got a good corporate discount on it and it pay monthly no contract..

    Yep me,

    I use it for Weights/Cardio at lunch, then train my grappling/MMA at my actual club in the evenings. The facilities are awesome, although it get's really busy around lunch or immediately after work.

    One thing to note is they won't let you use the cage or the ring unless there is a class on, regardless of your level. There are regular decent level MMA and Grappling classes there, so if for any reason you cant train at your usual spot you can use those also.

    If you pay the normal rate you can use any of the gyms, if you pay a corporate discount you can only choose one (I opted to pay the full wack as I'm halfway between Bank and Holborn).

    I like it for standard fitness, but it's no substitute for an MMA/Grappling team.

    cheers Ben, thats my thoughts on it.. i just need weights and fitness and its in the middle between my station and my building. I can do 4 to 5 sessions in the week then visit my club in the evening.

    Saying that they do have Errol Christie doing PT so that might be good. I also asked who the BJJ guy was and they said "Eduardo .... " that was it

    I believe the BJJ is taught by Eduardo Goncalve, who I'm pretty sure is a Carlson Gracie Team Black Belt.

    Gymbox use Sandee equipment and are therefore utterly awesome !

    I use the Holborn branch. Usually do weights and cardio during lunch and MMA with Ash. The facilities are great and you get plenty for your money...
