He's my nearest instructor who seems to have a genuine grade , i have emailed him just wanted to know if anyone had trained with him or had any experience of training under Italo ferreira ?

I've trained with Italo a fair bit. Got no idea about Mark though sorry, other than he is a legit Italo blue belt.

Whats his style of bjj like rob ?

Italo is a small guy, so lots of stuff like butterfly hooks, x-guard, getting underneath and standing to single leg etc. As expected from a black belt though, he's good from all positions.

Italo is good and he visits Mark's place very often to update him and the gang. We drove over to one of Italo's seminars in Sheffield (well, Italo was running the seminar at Mark's place) and I couldn't fault Mark or his crew. A very nice bunch and they obviously all learn from a bona fida BTT black belt.

Mark Hayes has been my instructor in Sheffield for some years now, and I can confirm that he is a genuine BJJ Blue Belt under Italo Ferreira.

Italo himself is awesome, very technical (as can be expected from a Black Belt!) and the material that we have worked with him is efficient and functional. If you have any other questions about training with Mark or Italo's style of BJJ I'm sure that Mark himself will be happy to answer them.
