    Default MMA in Taggart

    Did anyone see this tonight?
I thought it was a pretty poor portrayal of the sport in Scotland, especially that metal cage.

Yeah the fat taggart guy batters the guy who smashed up Sean Wright, it was highly unrealistic.

It's a TV drama, what do you expect?

If it was going to be an accurate portrayal it would be a documentary like Channel 4's "Big Fat Gypsy Wedding'

Yeah the fight was quite unrealistic but the bouncers in the club were pretty convincing :-)

Wouldnt be good for the storyline if they went to a smoothly run professional show, with well matched fights and safety precautions.

Totally unrealistic, shagger wright would have lengthed at least 3-4 birds in the crowd before the fight and fuck only knows how many after it which they seem to have conveniently left out.

Episode synopsis from the ITV website:
"The murder of a boxer leads the team into a murky world of cage fighting, illegal gambling and lap dancing. And Ross's own gambling addiction is exposed."

    Sounds pretty realistic to me.
