    I think Burnzie was referring to the 7pm MMA sparring.

    In which case you don't have to be, but it helps.

    Also at the 6pm rolling you've often got me, Gazz, Burner, Delaney and Carpet on the mats so there is a decent sprinkling of people who have fought or will fight MMA but it is a gi session.

    Hi

    Can anyone tell me which BJJ sessions at the grip would be best for a complete beginner? Also, is it ok just to turn up and do I need to have a gi when I start?

    Go to www.thegriphouse.co.Uk and look up the timetable. Anything marked fundamental will be good for you.
    Don't need to buy a gi to start with, t shirt and shorts are fine
