I trained there in 2008. It was $100 per month, more if you did the no-gi classes as well (there were 2 gi classes per day, 3 no gi classes per week, 1 mma class per day). It was all monthly, I don't think they did stuff by the week.
One thing to be aware of, it's in the back of a posh leisure centre, there aren't any signs out front. Plus, make sure you go through the front gate at first. There's an "estate" to the back which is perfectly safe (as long as you don't take pictures), but it's best to go through it with people from BTT the first couple of times.
It is a fantastic place to train. I kinda wish I'd done more No-gi before I went there (as opposed to none) as it's really high standard. One of the no-gi coaches (pretty sure he still teaches there) is a leg lock specialist.
David5 trained there for quite some time so he's the best man to ask.
I looked into it and training costs are split dependent if you want gi, gi and no gi or full pro team training with different monthly prices to reflect that.
I walked in through the alley behind Leblon shopping. Dunno if that's the main entrance or not.
jack's prices sound about right
eraldo paes teaches the no gi and is frankly amazing.
allan, you went in through the ghetto entrance, but they obviously saw your ears and knew you were cool![]()
man, when you're the nail, hang in there....until the day you become the hammer
Thanks for the info lads. I appreciate it.
