Default KombatClinic.com interview with Craig Ewers

On paper, at only 30 years of age, Craig Ewers doesn't immediatley compare to your average national Judo coach but get him started on a subject that he obviously has an uncompromising passion for and he'll soon dispel any preconceived ideas you may or may not have about his exeperience as a Judo coach.

A former team GB member himself, a 4th degree black belt in Judo and a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under World [no-gi] and European medallist Pedro Bessa Craig took over as the national coach of the Welsh Judo Association [aged 29 years] from his mentor, 2 x World Judo champion and 2 x Olympic silver medallist Neil Adams MBE (some very large shoes to fill indeed) nevertheless, Craig's intelligence, tenacity and commitment has shone through and together with the rest of the team he is doing some tremedous things for the Welsh Judo Association in the build up to the 2012 Olympic Games and beyond.

KombatClinic.com caught up with Craig during a busy schedule and managed to get some very detailed and articulate responses on subjects such as Judo in Wales, his thoughts on the relationship between Judo and BJJ and his thoughts on team GB's Olympic hopes ahead of 2012.

    Enjoy guys!
