information to promoters

Can I ask if all promoters are in the no about the CQC requlations that come in to force on the 1st of april 2011
in short any medical provider that attends an event and provides “more than 1st aid” they need to be regasterd by the CQC they are a governing body set up to regulate medical care, this is from ambulance services even St John and Red cross have to be certified if they are not they can't practise that goes for any medical provider!!! this goes down to the medics at ring side they should by certified and hold a CQC regastration number, this could open up a can of worms if any thing happens to a fighter and it's found that the provider is not regasterd with CQC can I advise that you all check with you medical providers to see if they are CQC regasterd with this body
Sorry to bring this up but we all have a duty of care and if you don't know about it that dont matter in a court room........
