    All great advice above.....get/wear knee pads from day one as it can quite tough on your knees when you first start also it will save you problems further on in your training.
    Stick with it no matter how tough you feel it gets, it's worth it.

    im deffo gonna order some knee guards lol, my knees were red raw! (difficult explaining that to the mrs)

    Get some Fumetsu ones. They're great, last forever, and only cost about a tenner each.
