Thread: Farabi Boxing Gloves?

    Default Farabi Boxing Gloves?

Hi, I would like to ask if anyone tried these gloves
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...ht_2738wt_1139

I was looking for gloves in e-bay and as my budget this period is quite low, I was looking for some options. Of course I do not want something useless or not good at all, but at least make their job ok!

Second best option would be to order from Thailand Top King, surely in quality I believe would be much better but...
with transfering could be lot of money. (I want gloves, shin guard, mouth guard, shorts etc.)

ps: I am sorry if by posting the link braking some rulle, I do not have on purpose to advertise.

I bought the white ones with the reg thumb... most comfortable glove I've ever put on, better than Sandee and Fairtex imo.

Bought a pair they are rubbish normally I get at least a few knock downs in light sparring its the hands you see they are heavy. I tested them out for a week and not one ko. I am 17 stone and normally when I spar with featherweights the hands take over and the knock down comes anyway I sparred a middleweight and nothing happned didnt even faze him nothing. So yea the gloves are a bag of wank mate if your in to protecting your hands then go for it but I like the knuckle to feel the face as I connect. maybe it was the weight difference but i doubt it as seal clubbbing featherweights isnt a easy task they are so fast its great for confidence building tho.

I've always found the cheaper the glove the quicker they split, I used to use blitz and Lonsdale from sports direct but they didn't last long. I would save up and get the better equipment which will last longer. The pair of kings I've have lasted about 4 years now.

it depends on what you want , I have a set of gloves for bag work , pad work and a set of gloves for sparring.
i wouldnt use grants for bag or pad work as that will rip the ass out the glove, but reyes at 16oz can handle bags and pads comfortably.

If you need a friend, get a dog !
