I got Diaz. Votes are split 50/50 right now.

I just hope Daley makes weight and it is a fight for the title.

Yeah imagine that....Daley stays out of Diaz' range then takes him down and subs him. That would take him by suprise!

Apparently Diaz has excellent BJJ but I'm going to let my heart rule my head and go for Daley. It's his moment he's worked many years for this. It's UK MMA's opportunity as well.

It's a very interesting fight as Diaz believes in the strength of his own jaw and that will give Daley a great opportunity. I cant think of any strikers that Diaz has faced who are on the same level as Daley

its your typical striker v grappler. i wouldn't class nick as a pure grappler and think his striking - albeit looking sloppy - is being hugely underated on here, but in terms of this fight i think his best chance will be to take paul down, so it'll come down to pauls TDD vs nicks ability to get it to the ground and finish. i don't think anyone would bet against daley if it stays standing but whether he can keep it standing is another matter. we regularly see the classic 'striker vs grappler' and history would show us that the vast majority of the time the fight will end up on the ground with the grappler more often than not winning.
nicks wrestling isn't that strong though so there's always the chance daley can keep it standing and can knock the twat out on the feet. hope daley ruins him in a bloody mess.

How many times and you seen Diaz take people down. And look at Pauls takedown D. How was taken him down lately apart from Kos?

I can see why people think Diaz will win, Im a huge Diaz fan but this is a perfect fight for Daley. He is fighting someone who thinks they can stand with him who hasnt got the takedowns once he gets in trouble.

Once Paul wobbles him he wont let him off the hook. It will be over

Well, two fights after the Kos fight he got taking down a bit too easily by Jorge Masvidal, pretty sure that guy isn't meant to have good takedowns...

Even if Diaz can't flat out take Daley down, you have to think at somepoint he's going to be able to drag him down/pull guard.

I also wouldn't rule out Diaz standing at all, his punches have much more variety then Daley.

Basically standing I see it as Diaz volume of more variety of shots v Daleys power, which makes for a very close fight. However that's as good as it gets for Daley who is pretty much doomed if Diaz finds anyway at all to drag this to the ground.

Hoping Daley can pull it off though.

Diaz by outboxing fatty semtex then snapping his arm, taking it home to the 209 and using it as his personal bong holder...

    WAR DIAZ!
