Thread: Partitioning half of my external HD?

  1. #1

Default Partitioning half of my external HD?

How would I go about doing this ? I have a 1.5tb drive but its formatted to ntfs, instead of losing all my stuff by reformatting it (as I need one thats formatted to fat 32) I was told I could format half of the drive to fat 32.

Can anyone tell me how it's done ?

    Thanks.

You need some partitioning software, Norton Partition Magic is one if you can get hold of it, they stopped it's support & development a while back but it should still "be out there". It will work it's magic and create a partition without data loss and you can convert it to FAT32 in the software as well.
