    Default Oxford submission wrestling club?

    Hi,

I’ve searched the forum but can’t find anything recent. Would anyone know if there is a club in or around Oxford where I could do no-gi bjj or submission wrestling? New to the area and want to keep training so happy to travel a bit further out.

Just looking for some regular submission wrestling, without the gi, in the evenings or weekends.

    Thanks

Hi mate, Reading may be a bit further than you were looking to travel but we have classes 7 days a week including some daytime and weekend classes. We regularly have people travelling from Oxford and Newbury way to our classes.

We have free parking and we are about 10 mins from Reading West station and 25 mins from Reading Station if you are travelling by train.

You would be welcome to come and watch a few sessions and see if its what you are looking for.

Feel free to give us a call or drop us an email.

Hi Gods of War - I took a look at your site and the grappling classes during the week sounds great, thanks for the information.

I can't email at work so hope a post is OK for two questions: do you have any grappling classes on the weekend? Any do the hour long classes involve any sparring?

I hope to drop by within the next few weeks and check it out.

    Thanks again

No dedicated grappling classes at the weekend at the moment mate sorry. The hour long classes usually involve some rolling in the last 20 minutes. We do have a couple of grappling coaches avalible for one on ones though over the weekends.

Any other queries please get in touch or we hope to see you at a session soon.

Serious lack of no-gi in oxford. I do boxing at OMAA and keep asking them to put on an evening/weekend no-gi class...
