Cool Losing/Gaining weight - try the MyFitnessPal App and Website

    Guys n gals

If you are trying to gain/lose weight, or if you just train and want to know the nutritional breakdown of what you put in to your body... Try this http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ App and Website.

It's awesome I'm well impressed with the variety of foods available on there, for instance it has restaurant meals, brands, shop 'value' ranges.

I needed to document mine for a reason and would never 'calorie count' normally, but this is great if you want to know if you get enough/too much -

    calories
    fat
    protein
    nutrients etc

    Enjoy

    Dave

I'm actually thinking about moving up to welterweight as I find I dont have enough strength at my current weight (70kg) so I might give this a try

I've never had a problem losing weight, but puting weight on is hard, especially when trying to train, and work full time

hopefully I'll get some good results from it

same bro! This is why im keeping a food diary as i've had sudden weight loss.

As an example this is how in depth and specific the foods go right down to the brand (and there's a search facility) -

    Asda - Gammon JointServings: 100 G 1 G
    Calories 190 Sodium 0 mg
    Total Fat 7 g Potassium 0 mg
    Saturated 3 g Total Carbs 2 g
    Polyunsaturated 0 g Dietary Fiber 0 g
    Monounsaturated 0 g Sugars 2 g
    Trans 0 g Protein 0 g
    Cholesterol 0 mg
    Vitamin A 0% Calcium 0%
    Vitamin C 0% Iron 0%

    OR

    Nutrition Facts
    Tesco Finest - Scottish Porridge Oats Servings: 50 g 1 g 1 container (750 gs ea.)
    Calories 180 Sodium 0 mg
    Total Fat 4 g Potassium 0 mg
    Saturated 1 g Total Carbs 30 g
    Polyunsaturated 1 g Dietary Fiber 4 g
    Monounsaturated 2 g Sugars 1 g
    Trans 0 g Protein 6 g
    Cholesterol 0 mg
    Vitamin A 0% Calcium 0%
    Vitamin C 0% Iron 0%

Thanks for this I used it to get under 80Kg for the takedown no-gi event on the 22nd May. Down from 85kg to 79.5 on the day. Still got armbarred in round one though :-(
