Promoters BEWARE of CARL MORLEY..... Do not match him on your show!!

This is something that i did not want to do, however i feel that it needed to be done so that other un suspecting promoters are not put in the same position that this so called pro fighter has put us in.

The guy completely vanishes from all contact leading up to the fight after requesting tickets and posters to be sent to him. He assured me he was training hard and ready for the fight.

I then did my usual calls to follow up to make sure all is well for the weigh inns and get nothing in reply! I since spoke to Luke from Supremacy FC who was having the same difficulty with him as Carl was due to compete on his show at the end of the month.

After persistent calls/messages/facebook etc with no prevail i decided to message his fiance through facebook to see what was going on and she tells me that Carl said he wasnt even fighting this weekend! (see below message)

As far as I know carl told me he has no fight this weekend as he got pretty beat up in Portsmouth a few weeks ago. Ill pass the message on and do my best to get him to call you back. Sorry about this x

very disappointed and feel that he has been very un-professional. I have alot of contact in the UKMMA scene and you can tell him that because of his actions i will make sure i let every promoter in the UK know what he has done and i can assure him that he will be black listed from all promotions. He hasnt even had the decency to return my calls. Really appreciate you getting back to me, i know that its not your fault but as you can appreciate i am very frustrated.

Iam sorry but he assured me he told you he couldn't do it. Wow blacklisting him is abit extreme ruining someone but if its what you need to do to show carl you ment business then so be it. Take care

Carl never told us he wasnt fighting. If that was the case why the hell did he get us to send him 10 tickets and posters etc?


As you can see it is pretty apparent that Carl had no intentions of competing which not only messed us up 1 day before a show but also his opponent who IS a professional fighter and has put himself through a tough training camp and completed a weight cut.

I feel that this happens too much and that the people responsible should not be allowed to get away with it.

Sorry guys, thats my rant over. Whether you agree with me or not i felt that it needed to be done on this occasion.
