Default How hot is your gym?

Is your gym hot? Do you have air con? Do you have fans? Do you embrace the heat as a part of conditioning the body for competition?

I love training in a hot gym as its keeps my injuries in check, i just make sure i have an electrolyte drink to keep me from dehydrating.

As i find it keeps me more flexible when its hot, i have got a shit load of scar tissue in my hamstrings and upper back and its better when i train in a hot enviroment. Might just be me so thats why I put that I love too, am not speaking on behalf of everyone else.

Heat is meant to be good for your joints. It's why old people love going abroad.

My gym gets pretty hot, but it was good prep for when I went to Brazil, I managed to do full training sessions out there from day 1 (though it was still a struggle) some other people who were use to an air conditioned gym, couldn't manage a full training session for the first week or so cause they couldn't cope with the heat!!!

No air con, no opening windows so extremely hot in summer but also bloody freezing in winter even with the heaters on.
