I got some very gay requests to moderate this thread when i was on holiday.

To all the people who want a moderated no-gi forum- go and wax your chests.

If you cant handle the heat stay out of the cagewarriors kitchen.

    Hi Rob,
Sorry noob here! I've just run a search on Jamie Phillips and wrestling coz he's opening a club near me and the flier says it's a good base for MMA and so on, is it this guy? I ask as you said you knew him personally and wanted to check if he was legit before going along! I know you said he's not good enough for teaching but that was like a year ago i guess.

It's the same guy but says other people are teaching?

I haven't seen him rolling since Aug 2010 (when he had no wrestling experience) but have my doubts he would have improved enough to be good enough to teach by my standards. He said (on facebook) that they'd prove that catch wrestling was a better style than bjj... yet he has exactly.zero students entered in the upcoming Welsh open nogi comp... says it all imo.

Train at a club with proven competition success.

Ok thanks for being candid, been looking through the threads and it seems odd he's gone from 'catch wrestling' to another style so quickly, i guess that says a lot.
