Default WFA on Pay Per View in the US

I remember reading a while back that people in the states thought that, no matter how good the card is, the WFA couldn't compete with the UFC because they don't have PPV. Well, now they do, it's on Indemand for $34.95 (cheaper than the UFC I think)

Do you think that the appearance of the most charismatic (or insane) man in MMA ('Mayhem' Miller), the guy that bashed Chuck Liddell (Rampage) taking on the uncrowned king of the middleweights (Matt Lindland) and the return of Bas will generate enough interest for the WFA to be a real competitor?

Any of our stateside visitors, byt this PPV, Mayhem alone is worth the price.

Yeah, I agree that they won't immediately be competitive with the UFC, for the casual fan MMA doesn't mean anything, UFC does and Zuffa have done a great job of keeping it that way.

Let's hope that they're in it for the long haul and they're prepared to build up the viewership over a few shows and not just hope for miracles immediately.

Yeah it is, any magazine that doesn't cover this event would be very foolish

Kit Cope is on the September card, he's got a 3 fight contract. There's also some other quality fighters listed on their website that aren't on this first card.

Agreed, was just mentioning him because I happen to know that he has a 3 fight contract. If they use him right (put him in against strikers with no ground) then he's potentially the most exciting WW in the world ...

Ramon Dekkers ? I would bet stupid odds that Kit would take the fight to the floor against Dekkers.
