Cut weight, or not?
Hi,
Thinking of entering a (gi) bjj comp in under 2weeks.
My weight is approx 80/81 kg. (slight bit of a gut but nothing drastic
)
Would you recommend cutting approx 5 / 6 kg to make the 76kg category.
or
enter the 82.3kg weight class?
Any advice ?

Do the 82.3 this time and maybe diet down at a reasonable speed for the next one. You don't want to cut water weight for BJJ, the weigh ins are too close to the matches.
