    Default Haye quits boxing

    there we have it.

The former world heavyweight champ is 31 on Thursday and always insisted he would not continue past his birthday.

British Boxing Board of Control secretary Robert Smith confirmed: "I received an email on Monday advising me Haye would not be carrying on."

Anyone get the feeling we might see him in a cage at some point, dude loves MMA, has hit his ceiling in boxing possibly and maybe looking for a new challenge... The only thing I think stopping him is how much money even say the UFC would pay him compared to what he could earn in a Klitschko fight.
Sig awaiting witty quote from someone.

He quit cos he knew he would never win the HW title again.

He is never gonna beat the best in MMA, so you won't see him in a cage.
