Do sparring gloves have more padding than mitts?
I had a knuckle injury 3 years ago and the result is mitts start hurting it after an hour session. Its never neen 100% since and dont want to mess it further. Can spar gloves also last as long as mitts on the bag? cheers guys.

Yes they do. there is a lot more padding in a pair of sparring gloves than in bag gloves/mitts.
The Punchtown Gloves are by far the most padded gloves i have seen. Very well padded with really good wrist protection

mits ? i dont think people use mits anymore
Get yourself a decent pair of 14 or 16 oz gloves, that will cover bag, pads and sparring
