Fair play to Phil , I was sure Economou would smash him and then I was sure Broughton would neither did , my gut feeling is that he will get smashed by a mid level UFC heavy weight but who knows.
Impressive debut!

just seen the fight and i thought he did well for his debut, whenever i have seen him fight he looks very awkward and stiff but some how seems to get the job done and win fights.. so good luck to him.

I don't think any one is being overly harsh just honestly analyzing the fight that they saw.
If it was two random American fighters I'm pretty sure every poster from newcastle and sunderland on this board would not mind saying how shit it was.
But because they're British fighters we're all suppose to pretend it was something better than it is?
Personally I'm glad we don't have to tip toe around every bad performance a British fighter puts in.
I'm a MMA fan, I don't judge the fighters on geographical merit I just want to see top guys in the UFC.
That's not to say I don't want to see British fighters in the UFC, because I'm a supporter of UKMMA, but I'm not going to lie about the level of the fighters.
