Hey guys, I'm looking to increase my calorie intake but I am very undisciplined about it.
I take a post training shake every time I train but am lazy when it comes to meals. One area I can easily adress is the morning. I never have breakfast but am looking at having some sort of morning protein shake and was wondering if people have any recommendations or nice recipes?
Any help would be appreciated
Firstly dude, you need to address the breakfast issue. The 'most important meal of the day' saying is not a myth! Especially for those who train, your body hasn't been fed all night and needs fuel to grow muscle!
Personally, however much I may not want to, I ALWAYS sling a protein shake down my neck first thing when I get up!
Porridge is the perfect partner for that, real stuff not Oatso shite and all that! With fruit on it, not sugar!
A shake alternative would be protein, ultra fine oats, two bananas and a little honey. Very nice too
Dude that's the exact issue I'm trying to address! Thanks for the recipe, need to pick up a whole bunch of fruit over the weekend!
fruit is not meant to be mixed with other foods, studies say, something to do with digestion!

Think there is a Sci Mx Breakfast shake out, got oats and stuff in but I'd do the egg white omelette or if you feel saucy a fritata wiuth chillis and tomatoes and cayenne pepper! BOOM
For me, I like to eat the 500ml natural low fat yoghurts (low fat and a healthy wack of protein) but if I mix it with fruit, I get the lars (feel really tired and can't stop yawning.) Then, a lady I work with who facilitates meditation groups was talking about diet with me, and she saw me eating one of my yoghurts. She pointed out that eating them with fruit can increase tiredness. I stopped eating fruit with it. Made a difference. Makes you wonder about those fruit corners.
