I've just been moaning about this to my mate. It's the most pointless remake ever, and as it takes place in the modern day, there will be no 'Hip to be Square!' and other 80s gems. Wank.
...I'd be more angry but I'm worried about the sodium levels in the soy sauce.
They could put a slight twist on the plot and this time it could be steroid fuelled roid-rage
