My excuse is that it was my first pro fight and I was told he was 5-7 to my 0-0 at the time....

Got to agree, Shaun's fight with Graham Armstrong proved he can hang with people at Pro and if u look at 2 of the 3 guys who he lost against - Steven Ray, Graham Armstrong, I don't think there is any shame in that as both are high level Scottish Pro fighters.

I'm not sure if they were reffering to Shaun or Nathan though or both??? I know Nathan is a danger to himself a bit.

For what its worth,I have to agree with Urban Disturbance's comment above,I was at CK and watched Shaun Edmondsons performance against Graham Armstrong and did see him having some of the skills required to be a pro fighter,but alas i was also at Urbans last show and watched a very injured Nathan Thompson put Shaun against the cage with what looked like very lame punches

From a reporter looking in and not a fighter it looks to be that Shauns stand-up is very very suspect,S.Ray destroyed him,Chris Batty did the same and some of his semi pro wins looked lucky to me ,no offence urban but just my opinion,I was told from Stuart Baxter that Shaun trains his own stand -up and not at urban this may be the cause.

More of a concern to me is an article a colleague from Fife passed to me regarding both Scott and Shaun's secret underground training ,it was quoted in the Fife Free Press that they used to drop each other on there heads in a concrete floor and in a secret location ,they would practice secret moves .......The mind boggles !!!! these were actual comments from Scott i may add.
Another concern would be the fact that Scott has walked from two different competitions I attended both Honour and AOC at Honour Scott Edmondson allegedly faked illness 10 mins before his fight started and when offered medical help he got in his car and went home without a reason or explanation,worse than that at AOC he weighed in then never came back to fight leaving his opponent high and dry,totally unacceptable in my opinion ,I asked the Urban corner where he was and was told"we have no idea where he is ,we need to concentrate on the fighters here now we can only say sorry to team EBS on his behalf".

I also agree with another previous comment regarding Fife MMA reaching saturation point,with Team Unity,EBS,Urban Disturbance and Edge MMA is there room for Ronin MMA ,I don't think so, although i wish them all the best,hopefully they wont be practicing like they stated in the Press as MMA has enough of a bad name without adding fuel to the fire

But as i said its only my opinion

Yes mate, quite a few. Not going to say who though but apparently they wouldn't be bothered if I did. I have no problem with people fighting Nathan if he is a last minute replacement and him saving a fight but asking for him and a few others is wrong from experienced pro's. Especially a few weight classes above him. Does that W really mean anything?

Fife isnt as big as glasgow or edinburgh etc but there is really no need for 5 clubs. I think a BJJ club in Fife would be more than welcome though

Not "Shit" as you eloquently put it Mr Baxter I was talking to you at Urbans last show you were sitting with your wife I believe ,The statements I posted were right out of the press if you do a historical search I'm sure a Reporter with your credentials will find then .
As for the rest it's common knowledge in the Scottish MMA fraternity

I'm not having a dig at anyone nearly stating the facts ,maybe you should try that with instead of writing the rubbish and inacurate show reports you normally do .

and for the record, scott and shaun live in glenrothes

the fife free press (despite the name) only covers Kirkcaldy, and the only MMA fighter they have ever written about is Steven Ray, the reason i know this is the editor of the paper came to do a guest lecture a few weeks ago
