Hi there, I've not been training much over the past 18 months and have packed on the beef a bit. Decided I needed a bit of motivation and signed up for a half marathon but I was wondering how marathon training will effect my MMA training?

Hi mate, Thats an interesting one, I would say that if you are running a lot, high volume every week your recovery for MMA will be limited. So this may impact your explosiveness, sharpness in training and may increase your potential for injury.
It depends on the volume of training you're doing both MMA and running, that make sense??
