Default Lower back care workshop - 4th February, Stockport

I'll be running a lower back care workshop at S&P gym in stockport on Saturday 4th February, 3 - 4.30 pm.

It's free for S&P members, 20 to everyone else. Message me or post below if you want me to reserve you a place!

What things will the workshop cover Rosi?

I would have definitely been interested in this if i wasn't living down south at the moment.

I'm currently seeing an osteo about a sacro-illiac injury i picked up doing Bjj

    We'll cover:

    - the very basics of lower back anatomy, and the most common things that go wrong (and how you can prevent them)
    - management and self care of back injuries during everyday activities and then the main section which covers
    - what core strength should really be about (hint: *not* doing crunches on big inflatable balls)
    - how to introduce spine stability work into your own training program
    - more advanced progressions
    - adapting weight training for your back - how to do it so that it makes it better, not worse

I'm hoping to put on a similar course in London, perhaps end of February or beginning of March. If anyone's keen to host it, let me know - otherwise I have a few possibilities.

I'm also putting together a neck, shoulders and elbows workshop which should be getting a trial run out in the next couple of weeks. Watch this space.

Would this count towards CPD for the GOSC ?
