    ok cheers. Out of interest, do many people go to compete at comps alone? Without any team mates or support of any kind?

    Lee Renaut from Carlson's London got a train to this event to smash some people up.
    He got a Gold Adult Blue belt Lightweight and also won the Blue Belt Absolute.

    So, did he just turn up on his own with a gi and fight?

    A lightweight winning the absolute? That's impressive.

    He went with one other mate from the gym to wage war.The other guy was a white belt who has only been training a few months.

    Reffed all his matches in the absolute and was very impressed, showed a lot of heart in particular to take the win in the absolute final, scoring the pass points very late on.
    Scotlands No. 1 Timekeeper also available as a BJJ/No Gi referee
