How effective is crossfit in regards to MMA?

Crossfit is just random exercise, their is usually no measuring progress and the workouts are not tailored to anything particular. Of course it's better than nothing but you have to make sure you have a decent coach because some teach potentially dangerous moves like olympic lifts when they are not qualified to do so.

crossfit is just re-branded circuit training
