Rob I'll be down, think i'm sitting around about the 64kg mark. I've had a sore lower back the past 3 days so I'm not too sure on competing so I'll just sign up on the day if I'm up for it. Should be good, the whole day sounds rad.

The link doesn't seem to be working for some people, email me your details at r.mccrum@sky.com if it doesn't work and you can pay on the day, if I have your name it'll stay at £25

Also, you will get moved up a division if you miss weight, NO dq's on the scales so don't worry about what weight you give me. It can be changed on the day.

Great day out yesterday (albeit I lost in the first round by decision ) and good to see such a big turnout.

One thing though, I know of several people there yesterday who were claiming to be beginners despite training for well over 1 year!

    That's bad shit guys!!!

    Congrats to the winners regardless!

You always get sandbaggers at no gi comps. It's a problem that's hard to catch unless you know the people. I don't get it because if I won a gold from sandbagging I'd just feel like a cheat (which I would be). That and they are cheating the people rightfully in that devision out of a fair chance of winning. It is funny when sandbaggers get destroyed though.

Thanks to everyone who competed and helped out, wasn't as organised as I would have liked due to everything else going on but it was a great atmosphere at the comp.
I can only apologise that people didn't get their promised tee shirts as there was a fuck up and not enough were ordered, we'll think of a way to make it up to everyone.

It'll be a couple of days before I can sort everything out and post the fully results.

The Superfight between Dan Reid and Danny Mitchell was good to watch and went to the judges decision with Dan getting the nod. Thanks to Danny for making the long trip up with a couple of his guys for the comp.

Ally McCraes family donated a large trophy for the winner of the Advanced Absolute division. This was won by Bart.
Ally's family will donate a trophy for each event from now on which is a lovely gesture.
