I watched it online for free. My pc is shit so the quality was garbage, but I still enjoyed it.
I thought the Pickett fight was probably the best fight of the whole show.
If I paid a subscription to espn and they gave shit coverage I'd be seriously pissed off too - the sports channels in this country are utter pish.
PROFESSIONAL MMA SHIT.
LIKES FREE STUFF.
GIVE ME MONEY.
I went to UFC.tv and got asked to pay $59 or so? I obviously did something wrong if you guys got to see it for free but what? Did anyone else see a payment screen when following the link? I seen a guy bashing Dana on his FB page for encountering the same page too.
ESPN's coverage has gone downhill quite badly, the amount of times things run over because they show European football and other shitty sports that run over schedule, which I'm sure people in the UK don't care about is garbage. If it was the FA cup final I would not like it but could understand, the French cup is weird. I dare say they would counter with; as the coverage has started they have to wait till it's finished and that's kind of a fair comment but French football? I'm sure the French cover it themselves and it is meant to be the UK channel, there is also a ESPN US channel too but they still load the UK channel with basketball, baseball and other American sports.
I hope the UFC coverage goes to another channel who will be more keen to do a better job and with a fresh perspective. On a plus side; John Maguire and Brad Pickett looked awesome on a plus note and it's good to see Jason get his win as well. I had fears he would have got cut if he lost this time.
I spit in the eye of ESPN producers u Fuckin mc fatty cunts , i only have the chuff for ufc ......reallypissedoff.com
If you go on to UFC.TV and sign up for an account then, at the time, there was a link at the top of the page that said UFC on FUEL 2. You could click the link and then watch the event after the UFC prelims finished. It was the same with the last UFC on FUEL event which was Sanchez vs. Ellenberger.
I guess when the negotiations are up they may look at another channel. As long it's one channel and it's not a load of money per month I'll be happy.
We don't get a bad deal from ESPN really if you consider that you save hundreds of pounds a year because we don't have to buy PPV's.
16-bit for life
Thanks for this
I agree we don't get a bad deal. £9 a month and at times you get around 3 events per month is a bargain. I will not be gutted if ESPN get the new contract but will be happier if someone like Channel 5 picks it up and I don't have to pay the extra but that's me being greedy I guess lol.
It doesn't matter how much it costs a month the fact is their UFC coverage is shit as was mma live. They advertise as your home of LIVE UFC events and that's why I subscribe the football and anything else is a bonus. I know if we get more than 1 event a month it's great value for money but when there hasn't been one for 6 weeks and it's at a time where us Uk viewers can watch it live then they shouldn't fuck it up !! Also why should we have to watch it online when we pay our subscription to espn to watch it ??

I obviously don't watch the ESPN UK shows, but I have heard more bad than good about their MMA coverage.

Yeah it was annoying , yeah ESPN could have done a better job . But do you really want the UFC on $ky $ports ? More cost , if you're got freeview ( Top Up TV or BT Vision ) that means you'll lose out because they'll put the best stuff on SS 3&4 like they do now .
It'll push people to download .
