Threads like Facebook pages achieve nothing but create the illusion to idiots that something is actually moving forward.
Everybody knows what is needed and how it needs to be done and roughly what resources would be required to create it.
It just needs the right person to do it.
At present there are several groups of the wrong people doing it but none sufficiently well enough to achieve very much for their efforts which is partly due to lack of knowledge and resource combined with the fact that nobody is likely to sign up to anything they run anyway.
Based on my research some of them are operating by stealth under the incorrect assumption that promotions will actually have to sign up to them once they are recognized by Sport England. (they have to be operating for 3yrs before they can apply , although they also need to prove that they have been governing a significant amount of their peirs)
This is nonsense without governement legislation.
The only legislation that is likely to happen in the near future is that MMA is banned if one of these idiot promotions as mentioned earlier gets somebody seriously hurt or injured due to their incompetance causing an over zealous MP who wants to get their name in the history books to ruin it for everybody.
It really is a race, governing body and then campaign for a ban on unlicensed MMA or shitty promotion screws up and gets everybody banned.

Things are happening in the background guys. That's all I can say right now. The right people with like minded interests are talking and things are moving along. One step at a time we are a baby sport and will be for a long time to come.
Governance and the right people will evolve, and right now that is not important but please trust me on this. All will be revealed. Ensuring Fighter welfare and safety is paramount before any governing body and that is where the plans are afoot.
A lock remains as strong as the door its fitted too.

Please do not allow it to take too long, there are more groups than you might imagine attempting to take control by stealth and it could be terrible if we end up with a UK Don King in charge.
