It was billed as an exhibition fight, 2 best friends who train together the announcer said. The whole show didn't make any sense.

Sounds like a total disgrace that has done damage to UCMMA's reputation. Have UCMMA confirmed they were actually linked to this show?

It won't do damage to UCMMA's reputation as they will just blame Wartime/Bull or whoever it was that was running it. I think they only use the name as the Wartime fella is associated and works for them.
The damage is done to the fans who went and may not go to another show because of it. Well not all shows are like that and there was another show on that night that seemed to run well
Heavyweight CW Prediction Record (7-3). All good in the hood
Fighter safety and treatment in general should always be a promoter's first concern. No medicals being carried out is disgraceful... no other way to describe it.
On another note, running a show the same night as OnTop5 is also no use IMO. Regardless of it being in Dundee or not, it could affect attendance for both events and presents an unnecessary obstacle for any promoter. The whole point of having an event forecast thread on here is to help avoid this type of thing, but if you have outside influences looking to make a 'quick buck', it does nothing for the Scottish fight scene. Where as promotions such as OnTop (and others) are good for the Scottish MMA scene and invested in it. Giving great platforms for fighters to showcase their skills in the proper environment with fighter safety always paramount. Speaks for itself really.
UCMMA? Is that the mob who have coverage on SkySports?! The skinhead guys who punch each other while they talk about "cagefighting"?
Head ... wall.
