I was there lfor that fight white v gizzy. I had a fighter fighting on that show in Brighton. LJ Adams V Laura Howarth was the only good fight on the card other than garage Daves fights.

I actually came on here when it happened and made a point of saying what I thought of the standard. I'm not trying to be critical for the sake of it. But we were in the dressing room of a couple of teams that to be blunt didn't have anything even remotely approaching the skills needed to compete in mma. Even one of my new guys who hadnt even fought nudged me and asked what the hell those guys were doing. Obviously it was the same show in Brighton. Mark did mention about doing a huge show in Dundee but I was very dubious. Anyway all these guys were really easily beat on the day, it was piss poor.

    garage Dave
There was 1 guy in the changing room who was an independent fighter. he had trained MMA for 3 months, in his garage. His name was Dave. He was fought a guy from the home team who had very good coaches and came to the cage with a lot of skill. But that was a brilliant fight as Dave was hard as nails although he lost.

based on what I saw at Terror on The Tay I was horrified - the "medical team" were from St John's First Aid, at one point following a KO, one of them asked my girlfriend (a photographer) if they should go into the cage to check on the knocked out fighter), they had no clue

the promoters paid to have Alex Reid fly up to give out trophies but not for decent medical staff, where's the sense in that?

very few of the guys on the card should have been in a cage, some had only few months of training under their belt, some even less than that

all in all the show was an utter disgrace, and the fact that they are a new promotion or a small promotion is no excuse

I have attended a lot of shows in the last few years, some were run on a low budget, but fighters are always looked after, at Terror on the Tay they were not, I'm sure anyone who attended the event as a fighter or coach can back this up
Thanks for pointing out the obvious Stu, think it's common knowledge by now everything they did and not do, it's not breaking news.

How do you rate the service/s you provide then?

By all accounts there not that great!, guess there's still a chance that you'll get that call as a foot model or an extra in the star wars cafe!

Here's a challenge for you Stu/romeoblood/SFCStuart, go to the end of the year only doing reviews for Fight Lounge. Stop trying to multitask it doesn't suit you. Build you profile/reputation before you do anything else!! that is the only way you will be taken seriously in MMA. Too many people trying to ride on the crest of a wave in the scene, not saying your dodgy in any way but you can cause damage in other ways.

I fail to see where I have caused damage to the MMA community

    can you elaborate?

Endless failed projects and ideas can have a negative effect.

I didn't say you 'had' caused damage but 'could'. You have effectively brought this on yourself and anything you do within the MMA industry will be scrutinised do to your previous shortfalls.

Only some friendly advice (I'll be watching).

I fully acknowledge that I have made some mistakes

my online clothing and equipment shop was not much of a success, but I acknowledged that i wasn't the right man for the job, fulfilled any outstanding orders and shut up shop, I didn't do anyone out of money, i didn't steal from anyone, I didn't break any promises

I suggested an inter club, hoping to get some backing from the experienced guys, and put on a good day, nobody was willing to help, so I didn't go ahead, after feedback I didn't put on an event, and no fighters were endangered

any more major flaws in my character you wish to highlight, feel free?
