Is there a card for this anywhere? Any gyms supporting this show or is it all fat gypo's with "heavy hands" fighting on the card?

From what i can find out, the show is full of an undercard of scotlands numpties.

Seems like 'fall out' from the 'Terror at the Tay' show a few months back. I really don't understand why the guys at UCMMA would decide to get involved with 'Scotland's Top Promoters' instead of actually researching the quality of the MMA scene in Scotland. Seems like the WKA and a bunch of low quality Karate/kickboxing clubs are getting the exposure that guys like the Dinkys, Lycans, Hostile guys deserve.

Pretty disappointed that one of the mainstream MMA promotions in the UK will now be helping to 'Promote' MMA in Scotland by showcasing teams like 'Internal Warrior MMA', and a bunch of low quality independent fighters. Apologies to any well known teams that are entering fighters on this show, but seems like trying to pad your record is all the rage these days...
Nothing better than watching kagefightin mongos on SKY TV representing our country.

wouldnt class us a big team at all. mearly even open at the moment. i would agree that there should be high level scottish fighters on the card as it appears to be getting broadcasted on sky. so be good for the top guys promoting scottish mma.

As a coach of Shooters Dundee and a director of Dundee Mixed Martial Arts and speaking only my own opinion, I say good on them to be honest. They sold out Terror on the Tay within two days and have Sold the majority of the June events tables too. (I have that from good authority other than the promoters)

Mark (WARTIME!) Carling and Julez Loftus have seen an opportunity, grabbed the ball (not fightball or whatever it's called) and started to run with it. I really wish them the best. We only didn't put fighters on their shows because the first one had a ref who we saw in the past let someone get choked to the point of horriffickness (if that's a word) and the second one because we want to see if it works out or not, and the card makes us a little bit nervous and we had other shows scheduled in.

We all started somewhere. When I started doing this it involved a few dodgy pancrase vids and some shit vale tudo stuff. We started where they are right now but, with the support they have and the money behind them they will do well. In fact we will probably go out of business because at £30 a month (for everything, classes, weights so on) we can't compete and we are a charity.

The gym is great that they have set up. A lot of money has gone into it and they are going to bring up decent people to do seminars every couple of weeks. The guys there now, admit they have little MMA coaching experience but seek to do there best. Although fielding people with six weeks experience is very sketchy.

Mark told me at the moment Internal Warrior (Their in house fight team) are rubbish. He used different terminology. However, they will develop their coaches, by going down South and working with people in gyms and coaches down there a week at a time (such as Tolly Plested) and will become good.

Having a pub in the gym is not my scene but, these guys have a different ethos than me so if that's what they want then do it.

As for having a go at teams fighting on it well I think they are doing themselves credit. These promoters were the guys who organised Cage Rage. They are getting Sky sponsorship. Why not go for it.

Mark is a business man. When he spoke to me he said the Dinkys were fielding guys. I only found out this was not the case when Craig one of our other coaches asked Paul, and he said he'd never heard of it.

Anyway that's my tuppence let the trolls devour me now.

What is this mongo ball? Are the dudes the same ones that brought us the farce that was Alex reid's last fight, in my opinion that fight destroyed a lot of good work done in uk mma, can you imagine Dana white watching that? Good luck to all competing big opportunity for exsposure.
