1st Edinburgh Open 9th June

The First Edinburgh Open BJJ Tournament will take place on Saturday 9th of June at Meadowbank Sports Centre, London Road, Edinburgh.
The event will be contested under normal IBJJF rules (only exception is we do not enforce the regulations on gi colours). There will be adult, master (30 -34) & seniors (35+) divisions available for all weight and belt divisions for male and female. We will also be offering unlimited absolute entry, so anyone choosing to take advantage of this will be guaranteed a minimum of 2 matches
Due to poor numbers at previous events we will not be running juniors or juvenile divisions.

Entry is £25 male divisions, £10 female divisions prior to the 26th of May. From the 27th until the closing date of 2nd of June the cost will be £30 for males and £15 for females.

It's going to be in future, we only limited the absolute the last time because we thought the team event would be happening and that would have given everyone extra matches.

Afaik it is, Gazz is dealing with the venue as Edinburgh is his turf

Pretty sure he said it's the same hall that was used for the 2011 Grab & Pull Scottish Open, not the 2012 one. Whole place remains a maze to me.

Not going to compete but my twin brother Brandon Hyslop is ... hes the exact same height and weight as me, Identical looking, has tattoos in all the same places aswell but is competing at white belt
