Nope, thats why the boys didnt go up, cause they would be in the advance division and there would be no point and to add insult they would have to pay 25 bucks to get a kicking. i didnt say he should have been in the beginners, all im saying is i kinda understand why he did it. thats why an intermediate division should be put in...... read the post again, u might get it next time tom

There maybe not enough people for an inter one as well as beginner and advanced.

Don't see why anyone wouldn't want to do an advanced, yes you might get beat, but it's not a fight. You should want to go up against guys who are gonna really challenge you in different areas.

Even if you get beat, you'll still walk away learning something, a sweep, submission set up, a pass any number of things, there was a few guys in the under year experience that looked really good and when they are in advance will only improve cos they are against better guys.

But what do I no :-) just ma thots
This is the most fun i can have without going to jail

For the record, I agree intermediate would be good.

Not sure why I need to re read your post? My post was my thoughts on the subject, perhaps referencing Bart after you had done the same made you feel I was challenging you opinion? re read my post, if anything I was challenging the other dudes point about him not having trained "much" BJJ recently.

I agree with you, i think taking on better guys makes you better. but it depends on how big the margin is. And if someone who has trained for just over a year and comes up against a purple/brown belt he might get hurt, i know there is a small chance of this, but if it happens ppl will say he shouldnt have been in that division to begin with. i can understand with smaller comps like kilmarnock not having an intermediate division, but there should be in bigger comps

Why is everyone automatically siding with McBursthoop over his loose , unsubstantiated comments over Gilani ? When the top team in Scotland DNFT were accused of sandbagging at a recent event where they won the team event there were no disparaging comments on this forum (they were no doubt well deserved winners given the calibre of their team and this isn't the point ) . However as soon as McBursthoop gets rammed by his angry uncle and decides to vent his spleen and target Gilani everyone starts to question the merits of his achievement . McBusrthoop is making all of this personal , similar to his his attacks on other coaches and people should see that as soon as it's personal it looses credibility .
