After a book worth of words I wrote to justify my actions, you still registered one thing which was to call me a cheater. You are entitled to your opinion and I will start following the rules by the book in future events but this was blown out of proportion to bully me. I also want to say sorry to Danny because in the other thread the comment may have not been aimed at me. Guys lets respect each other and work together as we all love the sport of mma and bjj.

By being an academic I class progress over labels where If i entered the advanced category there would ne no real progress as i have not finished business at the beginners category, it's like doing a one year Masters degree without an honours which is poor logic.
I am more than happy to return the medals because I have achieved something which is more important and that is to know that I have earned the right to compete in either an intermediate or advanced category. I regularly train at the Fighter's Hive where I am probably one of the most hardest working students there. I have gained a lot from training there and I have also added some more to my game by training at GB Glasgow where time at both places led me to attain the recent results. Rob, Meat and Gary I will return the medals the next time I see you. The people who were attacking me please know the whole story before you make a judgement. I am really thankful for people being impartial or siding with me but am also dissapointed with people attacking me without knowing the whole story because I have really worked hard to improve my game.
To Danny Gray, for your information although I maybe a mongo but I have followed the sport for over ten years where an ill prepared version of me with no bjj game was going to compete in an mma fight in September 2003 in Maryhill Glasgow under a Duncan James show but due to last minute changes I fought a thai fight. I also watched my friend Craig fight Willie Scott a few months later and my friend John fight ref John.
To everyone I will return my medals to the comp management, now please move

Seems confusing that people are still determined to witch hunt mr Gilani even though there is clearly widespread sandbagging going on . Is your own team completely innocent ? Why are people trying to look cute by slagging him ? Take a good look at yourself before you slag him and stop humping your sister for a minute . Or are you a racist James blunt , in which case I have nothing else to say . To conclude to the haters , find something bigger to occupy your mind .

That 'something biggger' could be ways to stop sandbagging, some sort of registry, identity system...no idea what but something at any rate to think about other than coming the self righteous prig on here.

Incase you haven't noticed there is more than one non-white guy in this country. I have no idea what race the poor beginners where in his bracket but you know what... Let's not call a cheat a cheat out of fear of being called "Racist". If any white person was in his -1 year bracket, he can't voice an opinion because he doesn't want to be called racist? That BJJ beginner who may have spent his last £25-£40 (depending on travel etc) will appreciate you have pulled that race card to scare off people who have wronged not only him but the sport.
Can't say I thought about race in my post, now that Mr. Political Correctness Gone Mad has pointed this out I am now wondering... Is Gilani Indian? Italian? Pakistani? Turkish? Half White/Half Pakistani? I honestly have no clue whether he's Muslim/Jew/Hindu/whatever.... I still think it's pretty hard to deny Some people in his under 1 year bracket who lost not only there money/right to a possible first tourniment win will be happy we "all move on because we love BJJ"
Read above. A cheat's a cheat. I was gonna quote Rab Truesdale/ Danny Gray and everyone else who disagreed with these cheating actions but there where too many. Martial Arts isn't about that shit. Never was in the beginning and shouldn't change now because we're apparantly all to be forgiving and soft as fuck.
playing the racecard is extremly gay here, i cant see anything people have said that is racist on this thread
